This Armenian fraternal organization is sponsoring a student essay contest to actively support the 93rd Anniversary of the Armenian Genocide Commemoration that will be held at Times Square on Sunday, April 27 from 1-4 pm.

The Knights & Daughters of Vartan wants to hear your voices!


This Armenian fraternal organization is sponsoring a student essay contest to actively support the 93rd Anniversary of the Armenian Genocide Commemoration that will be held at Times Square on Sunday,  April 27 from 1-4 pm. 


Open to all students in the Metro New York region, the contest will have two divisions - high school and college level.  One winner from

each division will be selected by a review committee and awarded a $500 scholarship.


The winners will also be recognized at the Commemoration and depending on time constraints, may read his or her essays.

The two winners will be contacted directly and announced to the Metro New York mainstream
and Armenian media the week on Monday, April 14.
